Im usually a size 16 but got this dress in a size 14. I probably could have gone down down another size if I wanted a tighter fit but it's perfectly oversized for me.
It's work appropriate but is also comfy enough for everyday wear. The fabric is thin and lightweight but is a good quality. Overall I love this dress!

Read other reviews so sized down twice (side 12, normally wear 16) and still slight oversized. Tie belt adds good shape though! The print is quite muted and the fabric is really soft. Functional buttons to control how much leg you want to show too!

I'm 5ft 5 and the length is about calf length - so definitely a midi in my case. The sizing runs large though, so I would definitely recommend sizing down!
There's also a slit down the sides which you can't tell in the pictures but in my opinion is a really nice detail. I also love that it comes with a belt to give the dress some shape and help it flow better. I opted to leave a couple of the buttons open at the top as I felt I didn't suit it with the buttons done all the way up.
